This is app is great for finding new places to eat and keeping up on all of the latest restaurant news. I love how you can easily access menus, reservations, restaurant reviews, and even request an Uber to dinner! Ive used this a number of times to find a restaurant when my friends ask me where to go to eat.
Have been using this app for several months now and loving it. It shows me yelp and foursqure ratings on top of the reviews from the major publications. Also it has OpenTable integration, so finding out a great restaurant plus making a reservation is super easy. Interface if beautiful.
What I love about DINE is that it doesnt matter whether I am home in NYC or visiting a new city - this app always brings me to the perfect spot. It gives me all the info I need: great map functionality, reviews from multiple sources, dishes to try, etc. Its like having your own dining concierge. This is my go-to anytime Im dining out: for a quick work lunch, din w/ friends, or date night.
Good curated list of restaurants. Other apps overwhelm you with options.
This is great for finding new restaurants to eat dinner at. It even links to reviews, menus, and gives phone numbers and open table links to make reservations.
Some bad moments
The suggested restaurants for, say a burger in Napa/St.Helena brought up only Gotts.... GIVE ME A BREAK... I can bane at least a dozen better burgers in the Valley... Any cuisine for dining at the bar... Only Press... deleted the APP...
Terrible selection of cities. Hamptons, really? Been there in the winter? No true restaurants in the South. Zagat is way better!
it doesnt have any options for my city! get options for Toronto/Mississauga
Uninstalling until Cleveland is added. How do you go to Detroit, and not venture a mere 100 miles southeast across the lake to this foodie town? Sad.
The selection of restaurants is incredibly limited. Do a search of Steak Houses in Manhattan and no Smith and Wollensky???
Pretty app, just not useful.
